I agree. The two party system does not allow for a third view point to be heard. This makes everything black or white, there is no middle. THe extreme views on either side dominate each party. Watch Fox News or Olberman.

The fringes of each party are the most passionate, willing to be loud, and make themselves heard. The ambivalent center is pushed around though the majority lie between the two extremes. It really is a shame.

I think this election though showed that the independents made it known that what is going on is Mass is the wrong way to do things. Deval Patrick stopped funding at a solider's home but built a multi-million dollar foot bridge and re-paved all the roads by his house. Who is going to support the Democratic party when they are doing things like that in Mass.

time will only tell !!! as people finally start to get tired of 2 party buisness as usual politics then and only then will other parties start to make some serious inroads --
