  • My daugter broke her arm.

It was her best day of snowboarding until she fell and broke her arm. We did about seven runs and she was just awesome kept bombing down the mountain. After her last run she was going towards the lift line and suddenly she fell backwards and man she let out the most horrifiying scream as soon as she got up I knew her arm was broken, it was just dangling there, took her down to er they took an xray it showed her arm was broken above the elbow and her elbow was also dislocated so she went in for surgery now she has three pins sticking out of her arm. Doctor said she'll be back to normal in about 10 weeks which means snowboarding season is over for her. :)

Sucks that it happened freakishly, not while coming down the mountain. I hope she heals well

Ouch man. Hope she gets better.

Funny story about me skiing. So after i built up on the bunny slopes I went down a more experienced one. I couldn't maneuver and slow down in time, so i flew right into a sign at the bottom of the hill that said "Slow Down" I broke the sign in half and just tumbled down and eventually stopped. It was fun :)
