End of AT&T iPhone Exclusivity

But as far as what RS said, Apple never stated they were going to release the iPhone on Verizon. They said future carriers to come. Apple said they were going to stay with ATT if all negotiations went well.

As far as the coverage wars, they have been going on for years. they just recently decided to go after the iPhone, but it wasn't because they don't have it. They needed a sales pitch.

You can't because there are no facts in print. Everything is just rumored in print as of right now. And everything that RS just said was never said, nor released by ATT or Apple.

The exclusive contract does not run out until June.

I speak with Bob Mudge who holds a very high position w/in vz corp. on a somewhat regular basis. They are truly confident that vz will have the iphone in the summer.

Could things change. Hell yeah. They always do. It's all about the mighty dollar.

The only reason vz does not have the iphone is because they declined the offer in the beginning because apple wanted too much money for it.

VZ is a very very powerful and evil company do not put anything past them especially when it comes to cut throat business tactics.

I know someone as well that works for Verizon (not high up like you) and he was told by the company that they will have the phone this year.

You know they have all but abandoned their copper and dsl customers. They layed off nearly 30k people since 2008 and are targeting 13k more this year....all related this customer neglect.

I have always heard that their CS is great when it comes to business accounts. Personal accounts not so much.
