im confused.

what does life mean to you guys ? Why ? I'm confused with some of the most basic principles that make life have purpose for me. what holds things together for you guys?

to me its about enjoying things.

enjoying my girl, my family, my dogs, the gym, traveling, nature, driving etc..

pretty much sums it up for me. i believe life is to be enjoyed and fun. our society has almost made enjoyment a thing that you should only have once in awhile.

always trying to improve myself be it in the gym or learning etc.. i love science and culture.

I couldn't agree more with you - i feel like society pushes towards the rat race with nothing but the bottom $ line matters. Meanwhile we lose track of what is important and that is how people end up hurt. I've been asking myself a lot of questions recently that I never thought I would. Normally I do not think about the reality of life and how we are living and actually a part of reality, but life simply has more meaning to it now.

I have been questioning this lately as well.

True, but unfortunately these two things go hand in hand; some people may be in rare circumstances financially; but to most you have to be in the rat race to be able to do anything; I mean it would be great to just be able to do whatever you want whenever but for most that is not realistic. I would love to be able to go on vacations and buy a new vehicle and do whatever I want but with the expenses of everything I barely can afford to pay for all my food and such for the gym. If I took on a more rigorous workload I would have alot of money but no free time for things I enjoy; Life is all about opportunity costs.

I said to someone if this is what life is after college I'm not interested. But rather than complaining I am doing something about it; probably going to go back to school for civil engineering because this business degree is basically pointless.

Bouncer - i dont think it's somethign you ever have, you have moments of it, and I enjoy and appreciate those moments ten fold now than I ever have.
