thank u dbj i will try not to be so cryptic in the future and u are correct on translation.i will just add that when she says she is not doing it for me she means she is doing it for the kids and also herself as well.i myself get involved in the casa program but not on paper in that me and my group of friends on the average kill 10-12 deer and several turkeys down here in georgia each year.many of aprils clients are somewhat wealthy and when we harvest a deer or turkey she raises the process fee thru them which is around 50 to 70 dollars per deer the turkeys we do our self.a good size deer will yield enough meat to last some of these familys of casa kids up to 2 months.and in turn the children write a letter or thnk u card to the person who paid the process fee, myself and my merryband of rednecks like the fact we get to kill for a good cause and no meat goes to waste.on a side note in many of these cases it is often the father or a uncle or a cousin that has done something really shitty to the younger and often defenceless child and is removed or put in jail leaving the mother and or older siblings of the casa kid to feed and provide for them which is not easy since alot of them depended on the older male that is now no longer there to provide the simple basics.this is not true of all of the kids april has had in 12 years as a casa parent in fact some of the kids are just plain mean as shit and can funtion only in controlled enviroments like juvinile detention or foster homes.sadly it often stems from a really screwed up family life and some of the crap that happens to these young girls and boys(mostly girls)makes a person want to throw up. thanks again now its time to start getting ready for some football !!!
