lol... what payback? We're all in the Northeast. We get hit by snow regardless. What sucks is, you guys are closer to the great lakes which fuel storms even more

Yeah but you never get the storms we get. Not all places in NY get hit with lake effect storms. Anything started by the lakes putters out before it hits the Albany area.

if i had the choice i would. but i think the pros of living in this area outweigh the cons.

Winter storm warning for MD. We're look at 12-18 inches coming in late tomorrow and staying all day Wednesday.

education, higher house resale values (even in the recession we've managed to up the house value... :dunno: ), access to pretty much anything, ability to have a shoe-in in almost every government organization for when i graduate, diversity of people, some of the best schools are within "driving" distance, the the diversity in weather we experience.
