I still have orginal x-men, niinja turtles and popeye VHS tapes ha ha.

The popeye's videos I have are in color, all I know is that popeye would eat spinach then kick some serious ass.

I got both; and the orginal VHS quality is about as good as that Popeye meets Sinbad the sailor lol.

I checked ebay, amazon, and one other online place - and then I called a sports collectible place close to me to ask if they dealt w/comics and they gave me price for #'s 1-4 of the uncle scrooge.

I'm banking on my baseball cards; I have so many all are in mint condition stored in a nice dark dry closet. Who knows when we are older if they will be valuable like the old ones are today.

I still got Jordan rookie card - when I was 11 or 12 I believe I got it and just put it in one of those glass / plastic wtfever cases and dropped it in the safe deposit box, at the time it was in the thousands. Who knows, I actually had forgotten about my cards until you brought that up.
