They fed her vegetable oil, spices, detergent, urine and medications, then forced her to write a suicide note, before they stabbed her to death, wrapped her in plastic, put her in a garbage can and dumped her in a school parking lot, police and relatives said Friday.

Six people have been charged.

The head of the 30-year-old had been shaved, and she had been bound with Christmas decorations and clothing; she also was hit with a towel rack, vacuum cleaner hose and a crutch, according to an affidavit.

just because i use the term "retard" doesn't mean i see the mentally handicapped any less than myself. i've volunteered at many places helping the mentally challenged at all ages (schools and senior centers) and i see no problem using the term. i've seen several psychologists and psychiatrists use the word in the social world outside of their practice. if they don't have a problem when they deal with the mentally handicapped on a daily basis, i don't think you have a reason to.
