everyone thinks they're the special one; the steve irwin, the lion man, especially people in that industry, they think they know wvweything about the animal and it makes them feel powerful to 'have control' over something that is so powerful and wild. Same with the bear guy.

Agreed, it's not a fucking gold fish, these animals ment to swim in wide open oceans not circling in a pool.

when the whale killed it's trainer the first time they sent it over to sea world. sea world said they were going to only use it for breeding purposes.

                  I agree.

I hate the Zoo, the circus, aquariums, all that shit is ridiculous. Families keep taking little sue and johnny there, so they continue to make money.

i disagree with you to an extent. even though they're putting animals on display it's not like they're not taking care of them. the DC zoo just sent a panda back to china so it can be released and they also have a breeding program so they don't go extinct. i just don't like the shows and such they have, like our aquarium has a dolphin arena. but then it comes to the fact that kids/adults will probably never support the cause for wildlife reserve if they don't see those animals in person.

I would like to know how that Panda did in the wild, and I would bet that the "wild" it is released into is some fenced nature preserve.

The Dolphin trade is insane, thousands are slaughtered, while the lucky ones get picked to be trained by dumbass humans and put in a small pond to make them money.

Endangered species is a difficult subject, when I read about millions being spent to save two species of a trout, that only differ in a color on their back, I start to wonder where do we draw the line?

how would you feel if it was human being kept in a cage or tank for other humans to look at against their will even if they were taken care of?

sort of sounds like prison no? imagine going to prison if you did nothing wrong.. :(

Now what if you were sickly and were in grave danger of dying because you didn't have a home or ample food? Wouldn't ''prison'' be better than dying from starvation or a sickness?

I think you are missing the point that Bouncer is making.

Then you die. It is called natural selection and humans love to fight that shit.

We want everyone to live forever, and for every baby to survive, and we go to extremes to do it. Nature is nature, shit happens.
