my aunt got married after being with her husband for 10 years. they dropped about 65K on their wedding. the guest list was pushing 400 (mind you we had about 20 uninvited guests show up) and pakistani weddings last 3 days. she thinks back and wishes we weren't so involved with family because they would have saved a lot of money and drama.
