that's now how they see it. they see it as "you're being paid to do what i want you to do and your paycheck comes from my purchase/membership fee, and thus, you are my bitch." unless you're dealing with someone who used to work in customer service and/or the exact place where you work, they have no sympathy. and if you do anything against their will you're the one getting in trouble, not them.

i've been working in some sort of customer service job since i was 14 and i know what it's like from both ends.

I remember I worked at a banquet house as a bar back so I could buy my first vehicle; and the asshole management said I had to clean the the bathrooms as well. I'm free minded and make my own decisions so they were having this huge banquet and I was supposed to keep the bathrooms clean, (which I never did) and I said to some important person getting drinks at the bar while I carrying in clean glasses for everyone : "Isn't it funny that they make the guy that cleans the toilets touch all your glasses you drink out of." Well I got a enjoyable session of yelling for that one, so I figured since I was on a roll I went down into the liquor cabinet and just gave these guys a case a beer, (yes they were stupid enough to hand a 16 year old kid the only keys to were they stored all the booze and the door automatically locked as soon as you walked in.)When they fired me I had gotten my new truck and they just paved their parking lot so I left my signature a nice donut right in the middle when I left. Remember don't get mad get even.
