yea bro, i am afraid you might be in for a pain for a while.

i had what you describe only down my tricep for like a a year and a half. sometimes the pain in the gym and at home it was almost to much.

had like 5 mri's and they could find nothing.

finally got surgery and it was a very small piece of cartilage cutting into a tendon and causing scar tissue and inflammation thus pressing on the nerves running down the arm. the surgeon smoothed out the cartilage and i was back in the gym 6 weeks later. just now able to lift normally and not be in pain all the time.

damn , that's exactly what i am afraid of B -- if they do have to go in i am done competing --

time to move past competing and get back to just enjoying the small things i take for granted

You can try my trick for getting better; usually never am sick for longer than a day if I do this. I put on two sweatshirts, two sweatpants Then I just drink as much water as I can go to bed early and put my heated blanket on high. You sweat like a hooker in church but it usually gets the sickness right out of you.

the surgery itself is tiny bro. they make like 3 paper thin slits the size of a dime. i have no scars at all.

you would only be done competing if you wanted to be done. that surgery would not prevent you from competing. you would need a good year to come back slowly though.

i had the same problem a couple years back with the pain in my shoulder that ran down my bicep into my elbow. i was doin flatbench DBs and slipped too far down on my right side. was very upset. i got some scans done and had a slight pectoralis major tendon tear connecting to the humorous. hope you get better brother. dont rush it. they had me in some rehab shit for a couple days but i was like LATE some lame shit i could do on my own. shoulder(s) still arent 100 % but neither are my knees or hips. i think wrestling and mma HA

ya b i planned on this being my last year for competing -- if they have to go in and fix things i am all done -- i am tired bro its been fun but the diet end of it piled on with what i have to put into myself to compete at a national level is no longer really worth it --
