i never went to prom because 1) i never liked a guy enough to have him be my date and 2) there was so much drama wrapped around prom both junior and senior year that there was no point of going.

our prom was at ravens stadium too which now sounds cooler than it did before.

quite true. i skipped class all the time and still graduated with a 3.8 GPA as well as honors in several things. not going to prom wasn't that big of a deal to me. i wasn't even cute then to be honest. i was the quiet girl that got the highest grade on tests messing up the curve for everyone else and i was the "TA" for several teachers.

now that i look back i really do wish i was. i blame my parents for a majority of it because i couldn't spend time with my friends except for this one girl that i still hang out with to this day.

i had a rough time all throughout middle school with a "friend" and drama so i saw high school as an opportunity for me to really focus on building relationships with people i saw as worthwhile. i also cut out the dumb people in my life which was quite a big portion.
