If a person does not realize that people are going to die when a war goes on that need serious help. But, to sensationalize it with something like this is? Disrespectful in my book. Leave the soldiers families alone they have given enough now you invade their homes and stir up these horrible emotions?

1) Big difference between knowing something is going to happen in your mind and actually seeing it or feeling it. Take people that smoke for example, they know its bad for them but they don't understand the magnitude of the situation until they are laying on a fucken death bed.

2) Its not sensationalizing, its truth in pictures, it shows emptiness and sorrow. You choose to stick your head in the sand and look away. That is not anyone else's problem but your own.

3) Nobody invaded their homes, those family's wanted a piece of their story told. They wanted to say "hey, dont forget about our son and dont forget about the pain it can cause".

Once again your perception is off.

Just because the military is making progress in getting rid of the enemy compared to 5 years ago.. I am not sure I would call things "positive" in the face of the countless death, destruction, and tragedy that war brings. the same tragedy that you would prefer they not even talk about..

Sort of like saying, "hey guys i won the Mr Olympia contest so that's the positive news... the bad news is that i had to kill everyone back stage before we went out so that i was the only one on stage"... you would rather i just say, "hey guys i won the mr olympia" no matter how it was accomplished. lmao

Wow. That's really a neat way to commemorate them. Definitely brings a personal touch to it all...the picture grid was pretty neat as well.

And let's be honest- the families of these fallen soldiers are proud to show their bedrooms..The really creepy ones for me are the ones that the family left the room EXACTLY how the soldier left it.

I don't see how bringing it to a more personal level to what their sacrifice is sensationalizes it in any way.

I have to beg to differ. I don't see it as trying to change people's views. I see it as a somber reminder that there is a real human cost to our freedom. It is the reason why when I went to the mall last week, I stopped a couple of military members in fatigue and said thank you. Nothing more was said, I walked away. There are real people fighting and dying. That is what photos show.

The war in Iraq is justified, just because WMD's wern't found doesn't mean jack. He was a threat and had to be dealt with. The rest is clean up, its just a shame how many of ours have died. Those guys are just as brave as the WWII vets and Vietnam vets.

The fact that WMD's weren't found does mean jack, there are a lot of tyrant leaders still in power right now, so I guess we should just start taking them all out. That would be great but we don't have the troops, money, or resources.
