Seems great really lets you see that real war that happened; Great quote so far from a bomber flying over german,"My job is to kill as many Nazis as I can, then I think what if this bomb rips apart some kid or mashes his face in...tough shit." As for your last comment, you are one of those people that likes to think that everything was better or tougher etc.. "back in the old days". Go stand in front of the current day marines, navy, air force, and army and tell them they are soft emotional pussies... Soldiers in previous wars in many regards did have it a hell of a lot harder than the modern day soldier. Modern day soldiers have more creature comforts and technological advancements in personal gear, transportation and weaponry. To say otherwise is rather ignorant, imo.
But there is nothing easy about a soldier's job during war regardless of the era.Comment
