  • 5 funerals so far this year

well i have started out the new year surrounded by reality of life and that is death no matter the cause

    buried my nephew ,

200 of us saddled up this last saturday and gave a great guy by the name of terry who loved his harley his last ride -- its some site when all you see in front of you and behind nothing but bikes -- all intersections closed so it was a strait run without stopping ... awesome

great guy by the of al and his 11 year old son where both killed last friday when for some reason he drifted his bike into oncoming lane of traffic ... road had alot of hard corners on it so maybe he over corrected with his son being on the back ..who knows sad all the same though .. al jr was in my daughters class

an absolutley beautiful 23 year old girl whom i got to know and became friends with since meeting her at a local figure show was killed this past saturday morning .. she was a fucking sweetheart .. big blue eyes jet black hair and a beautiful smile erased because she decided to get behind the wheel after drinking ...

the reality of life in full view ... makes you appreciate things a little more

Shit scott, losing family is incredibly hard. Then your friends, I am truly sorry brother. I hate seeing that drop down into the ground, but as you said - it does show you the value in life. Especially I've found once the shock / grief has past - you can reflect on just who that person was, what would they have wanted out of life, what was stopping them. I don't know what you think - but these are all the thoughts I consider when thinking of lost family and friends. I'm sorry that this year has been so tragically filled with death. But keep your head up, like you tell me - always forward brother.

Sorry to hear that bro. Unfortunately this is the harsh reality of life. We live to die.
