trust me the vipers I've been in are no damn muscle cars - they are straight track beasts that have CRAZY muscle for power - but the straight line only concept is absurd, they are used that way due to their power but they are track ready and can smoke most cars.

The cars body right now is rough shape; right now I am chipping away at the drivetrain; the motor is done and the transmission should be wrapped up once I figure this little problem out; rear axle is a ford 9 inch; the project is picking up pace now that I am outta school but time is mainly the issue now as the gym is my main concern and this is just a hobby.

given the short wheel base of the lotus i find it hard to imagine they did not stretch the this out..but on the other hand the trend has been wider and wider ..lets see if this thing handles like a lotus, which given the lotus means light wt and with a rompin stompin V8 how could this be ..maybe those french fellers are on to somthing?

No shit and half the weight. I have 37" tires and can spin them easy can you imagine what the Viper would do? It would need to be 4 wheel drive and have launch control to even think about takiong off fast.
