gmail has nothing that works and looks professional. I registered one with [email protected]. I was hoping for jlsmith. But the first one will suffice

I just have my first initial than my last name @hotmail.com.

I always say if I don't get hired because my resume is not perfect or my email address is not professional enough I don't want to work for the pretentious pricks anyways.

I was saying all the common types of email address [email protected], jksmith@gmail, john.smith, etc, were taken already. I can't have an email address of johnsmith69 on my resume

try ymail. you can select it when you sign up for a yahoo account. they have "ymail" drop down box you can choose.

have you tried creating an aol.com account? make a new AIM screen name with your desired username and then make it so your AIM is restricted to the max. when you set up an AIM account it creates an email account as well.

not aol as in the internet service but for email. when you create an AIM you create an email address which is your [email protected].

                            I know what you meant.

You don't have to have an aol email to use aim.
