For the last 6 days like clockwork, I have been waking up around 130am to use the bathroom. I go straight back to sleep and have strange dreams that I remember vividly. Last night I got arrested, two nights ago I was at war with a king because I wanted to wear the color red (wtf), I dreamed about taking my test wearing a posing suit only (again wtf), I dreamed about partying with smurfs (yes the little blue guys). And then I wake up right at 700am. Anyone else ever have a run of nights like this?

getting arrested means you're being out of control and reckless.Originally posted by alwaysgrowing View PostFor the last 6 days like clockwork, I have been waking up around 130am to use the bathroom. seeing red denotes anger and frustration as well as power and aggression.Originally posted by alwaysgrowing View Posttwo nights ago I was at war with a king because I wanted to wear the color red (wtf)
being naked or close to it shows that you are shameful either generally or of something specific in your recent past.Originally posted by alwaysgrowing View PostI dreamed about taking my test wearing a posing suit only (again wtf)
seeing blue could mean that you are trying to escape to a tranquil environment or that you are a little down.Originally posted by alwaysgrowing View PostI dreamed about partying with smurfs (yes the little blue guys). here's a general rule of thumb when it comes to dream interpretation. usually it symbolizes a more broad concept (like getting arrested means you are being reckless and out of control or how being in a speeding car would mean you are in a situation you want to control because you aren't happy with how things are going) but then again, your dreams could mean nothing.
people tend to remember their dreams more so when they're stressed and don't sleep well or when they train themselves to remember. the reason why you're probably remembering them more vividly is because you have been waking up right after your REM cycle is finished.
there are great numbers of theories about dreams. one states that it's simply a storage function and it's your brain speeding through your day's memories to put them away from later retrieval. another theory (Freudian of course) states that it's your unconscious making itself aware. one other theory is that it's simply random thoughts your brain creates in it's resting state.
