I'm finally going to break down and get Botox...I held out for as long as I could, but I think it's inevitable at this point. I need to start some preventive maintenance... :(

Ahh yes, the joys of aging. But, you know I can't help think about the bigger picture- I got to thinking about what mark I will leave on this earth when I die. I couldn't think of much other than my sense of humor and chipperness. Kind of makes me sad- I want to be remembered for something, you know?

red, are you obsessing over a little wrinkle or is it something bigger? just don't inject yourself with cooking oil. :P otherwise, if it's for yourself and not for anyone else, then i say go for it.

i don't know what i'd be remembered for. my life so far (only 20-something years) has been quite uneventful. i'm sure a majority of people won't really give me a second thought because i'm not someone to stick out and leave an impression. i don't consider myself funny or smart or anything too unique. i'm not a mother yet nor a wife so those right now are still options for me in the future but if i were to die today i am pretty sure there wouldn't be much to say.

Go for it - if it's going to make you happy and the side affects are not adverse to you or those around you, go for it. You'll be remembered more for character than physique - but let's face it - the better you look, the better the job, better the friends etc - that's just reality, people who want it get it.

fact remains, red betters herself. props. i dont give a fuck about botox or whatever - you telling me she hasn't put the time in to deserve respect. I still say go for whatever will make you happy and content with yourself at this point.
