No reason to feel that bad at 30. Sounds like B is right you need some oil. I am 43 and I am a competitive power lifter and I don't feel as bad as you describe. To answer the op I never talk to genies they will trick you every time. I want both to be strong and look good and also number three to feel good. In fact I am teaching a class at the local YMCA to show people how to do all three. You guys should come :)

Looks, always. I dont really see a need to be any stronger than I already am.

i don really get your whole nonchalant attitude about this.

things like fish oil can help with joints, heart, skin, hair, etc..

why would you not want to use it?

TBH this whole argument is academic, I've never witnessed a pro bodybuilder that couldn't bench 200lbs

a lot of those guys if they lost 50lbs would look damn good. I know what you mean though. I feel like you can't go wrong with power lifting as long as you are careful with your training.

For me, I don't want to be a pound over 140lbs, but I want to double my strength (as measured by strength relative to bodyweight) and be ripped. It's all about strength for me.

if its all about strength why are you concerned about being "ripped"?

It's all about strength from this point on. What I mean is that I am not concerned about size. I want to be ripped at 135-140 lbs and be as strong as I possibly can. Too much muscle mass is detrimental to my goals as is any fat, so I want to carry as little fat as possible.

Oh yeah, looks are important. My point is that I am already pretty satisfied with the shape my body is in - of course I would like to drop a % point or two of bodyfat and gain about 5 lbs of muscle but if I stay exactly they way I look right now, I won't have any problems. However, I want to be much much stronger than I am now.

This is what Deca had in his original post:

You could look huge, more massive than the biggest pro but you would in reality not be any stronger than you are now.

Or you could have the strength of ten men, but you would never be any bigger than you are now.

                                Look at the underlined part.

I want to have the strength of 10 men, but I don't have any desire to be any bigger than I am now. That's because I already look pretty awesome now.. :) :hibb:
