I understand that, what you saw overseas is the EXTREME side of Islam. Here in the US, we don't do that shit. The terrorists call themselves Muslims. They're really not. They're the extreme side of Islam that rewrote the Holy Quran in different ways and they interpret everything incorrectly.

I am proud to be a 21 year old modern Muslim that is well educated in these areas. I may not attend a Mosque everyday, I may not pray everyday, but i follow guidelines and the bases for what Islam is.

The sites you posted are slanted. Any direct translation from the Quran is slightly off, doesn't matter what language its in. The true message must be kept in Arabic. When things get translated numerous times, their messages become unclear, therefore the reader usually interprets the message incorrectly.

That happened to me as a kid when i was reading The Quran in English.
