only thing is, the cop does not have to subtract the speed. it is automatically done for him with his radar equipment, its instant.

I don't understand how you can get a ticket from that. Unless they are on foot, bike, going slow in town, etc...They usually can't see for certain you didn't have it on. When I didn't wear one in HS, I would get pulled over a lot, and I always slid that fucker on during the pull-over.

he gave me the seat belt ticket which is only a $45 ticket instead of giving me the ticket for going 30+ mph over the speed limit.

in other words he made up a minimal offense and let me off the hook.

Turbo, sometimes cops have to give you some ticket. They do have their quotas and what not. and a seatbelt ticket instead of a 30+ is way better.. They usually give me an obstruction of view ticket when i get out of mine. I always have something hanging from my rearview. My cop friends tell me to do this so if your nice to the cop they have something else to give you instead of points, but still get the tickets in their file. Around here, seatbelts tickets are more than 45, theyre like 95 or more or something. The obstruction of view ticket is 44.
