This is when the Shah of Iran was there. Everything was modern. When Ruhollah Khomeini came in power, he changed everything. That's when my dad was like "fuck this" and went to Europe. Iran did a complete change and now its slowly turning back to a modern age. So sad, once a beautiful country is not tarnished due to religion extreme.
