That's a nice GTS. Not sure about that M3 "competition package"

The GTS looks 100 times better than a Mustang GT.

Anybody know what the deal is with the graffiti all over the pavement on the Nurburgring? I see it in all the videos, wtf is it? Chris?

No deal at all. Just people leaving their mark on the world's largest race track.

Bouncer, don't forget it's a regular road when it isn't being used for racing.
Car manufacturers use the track for testing, and probably use braking markers or signs of such.

Other than that, people just write on it.

Its a race track bro. The general public can pay to get on the track and drive some laps etc.. but its no more of a "public road" then say laguna seca in cali or limerock park in Connecticut.

No bro, a part of it is used for public road, not all of it.

Also, some of those writings commemorate the death of people driving on those roads.

which part is a public road? because I always thought it was a place that was open to the general public BUT you had to pay a fee just like you would at other tracks etc..

are you saying that part of the nurburgring is not a race track and it has police and shit like that on it?

Its both, public road, and than if you want you can take laps on part of the track. Here is my source: Nürburgring - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nordschleife has remained a one-way, public toll-road for nearly 80 years except when it is closed off for testing purposes, training lessons or racing events. Since its opening in 1927, the track has been used by the public for the so-called "Touristenfahrten," i.e. to anyone with a road legal car or motorcycle, as well as tour buses, motor homes or cars with trailers. It is opened mainly on Sundays, but also on many Saturdays and weekday evenings. During the winter months, depending on weather conditions and maintenance work, the track may be closed for weeks.

During Touristenfahrten sessions, German road law applies. There is no general speed limit, however speed limits exist in certain areas in order to reduce noise and risks. As on public roads, passing on the right is prohibited, and the police take an extremely dim view of poor driving as they prosecute offenders with the aid of helicopters.

interesting. not exactly the same a public road because it is closed more then it is open to the public and you have to pay to get on it. but still, interesting none the less.

What crack are you smoking? The CLK black is quicker in a straight line, but the ass end (like ever Merc attempt) is far too unwieldy to be tamed to drive well around a track.
