              7-3? That kinda sucks. what kind of hours for a gym is that? Do serious body builders not lift after 3?

                  That was only for yesterday (Memorial Day). The regular hours are from 5:45am-10pm

                    Chalk is amazing. Helps my grip and I can lift much much better. I was able to do 5 sets of lat pulls, and the last 2 sets I had 230lbs on there. My deadlifts were better to. I put on more weight, and felt a good burn.


                    I went to shoulder shrug with the hammer strength and this guy stopped me and asked what i was doing? I said shoulder shrugging. He said its a waste and i should do db or the bar. He basically talked to me for about 20 minutes and bashed bodybuilding saying powerlifting was better. He said a lot of bodybuilders in the off season train with him and get the explosiveness and strength. Basically, he said bodybuilders look great and all, but can't lift for shit. He told me I have great size, but I need do step it up and go heavier and heavier while maintaining my diet.
                    He was a great guy, kind of a dick when it came to bodybuilding. He said he can get in me in natural shows and what not in 6 months. I just need to meet with a bunch of people and get tested. Wants me to meet this nutritionist, and train with some other bodybuilders and powerlifters that come to the gym at different times. Him and all these guys have stacks of supplements that they take, and AAS isn't included. They have special training at 4:30am lift and do other things.

                    I told him I appreciate his advice and help. Apparently he wants me to train with a bunch of guys next Friday and get a feel for what to do.

                      Finally checked out other building that is next to the gym. Its a MMA training room with lots of equipment. On top of that, they have Ironman training equipment. I plan on doing cardio tomorrow using the MMA room. Plan on jump roping, lifting the tire, hitting the various bags, etc...

                      Talked to them about my gym membership and they cut me a sweet deal for a year. $25 for 6 months and than $30 for the remaining 6 months. I was like FUCK YEA!
