1) America consumed 5 times the oil per capita than the world average, 95% of BP oil is from America,
2) An american investment bank owns more shares than any other in BP
3) transocean were the company that spilled BP's goods, they are american owned and public on the NYSE
4) Are you seriously saying this would never happen? Even with the most sophisticated equipment, oil tanker fail, get hijacked etc only on this occasion it was an american company who fucked up, but the underlying problem is the greed for oil and America is the worst at it, the next problem is greed generally, especially for profits and nobody is complaining while they are making a ton of them, not least JP Morgan that american investment bank.
