Scott, is it made differently to make it less susceptible to the contamination? I don't have a problem with choking down whey shakes, just want to minimize the heavy metal exposure.

Also, where do you buy brown rice protein from?

Want to minimize heavy metal exposure? Avoid fluoridated water,
90% of the fluoride used to fluoridate US water systems is industrial grade, not pharmaceutical grade.

It is a industrial waste byproduct full of other contaminants including heavy metals captured while mining phosphate.

hydrofluosilicic acid "fluoride" is being added to the water supply at 3ppm as a one size fits all medication.

Not only are these heavy metals bio accumulative, so is the hydrofluosilicic acid reaping massive damage on the body excessive fluoride exposure has been linked to thyroid, kidney and cardiac conditions as well as impaired brain and nervous system function., the most outward damage being dental fluorosis or calcification of the teeth..

In an announcement made by The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), fluoride levels in drinking water will be adjusted to prevent excessive exposure, which can lead to a potentially harmful condition known as fluorosis especially in children age 8 and under as teeth are still forming. Dental fluorosis is most often very mild in U.S. cases, showing up as barely visible lacy white marks or spots on tooth enamel. More severe forms of dental fluorosis that cause dark staining and pitting of the tooth, are extremely rare in the U.S.

The HHS and EPA are recommending the new standard for fluoride be reduced to 0.7 milligrams per liter of water versus current regulations that can allow as much as 1.2 milligrams per liter.

U.S. Officials Recommend Reduced Fluoride Levels in Water

U.S. Officials Recommend Reduced Fluoride Levels in Water

While fluoride may have some positive effects topically in people with a deficiency it is very dangerous to ingest (like drinking sun screen to protect from skin cancer) its very doubtful any one on this board is deficient.

Not only do most people drink it, they bath in it, Its used to process foods
the crops we eat are sprayed with it absorbing through the cell walls..

^ I'm sorry but this is so illogical, I don't even know where to start.

If indeed the fluoride salts or silicates that are used to flouridate water are added in the parts per thousand range and even if they were contaminated to the parts per million range (which I find hard to believe) with heavy metals, that would only give me a parts per billion exposure. I would almost wager that the background heavy metal contamination of water for heavy metals and other stuff is greater. Heck, the air you breathe is likely to have higher levels.

So, I would venture to guess fluoridation is going to be the least of your worries as far as heavy metal contamination is concerned. I bet this is just a ploy by the anti-fluroridation groups.

As far as lowering of IQ, this is so fucking laughable if it didn't make me absolutely furious. I know of the original study and the test group had fluoride levels that were about 5-10 times as much as is used in the US. Moreover, this is the same group of shills that allow their kids to watch 2-3 hours of TV every day. Now that's more likely to cause their kids' IQs to drop.... :retard: but why bother about that when we can go around looking for imaginary dragons to slay.
