Summer vacation plans

So what's everyone doing during summer?

We are going to Maui and the Big Island in 2 weeks after the kids are out of school. Can't wait!! :staypuff:

After that, we have another big trip planned, either to Vegas/Grand Canyon, etc. or to the East Coast - still finalizing the details.

And also several small trips around the PNW, mostly to the beach and perhaps some camping, etc.

lol... I am a load of fun.

I might take a day or 2 off and drive to Ocean City, MD. They have H20 VW/Audi Meet there once a year, big car show.

Also, might drive to Jersey for WaterFest, another VW/Audi Meet

we are doing some little trips because we are saving up for the big trip next year, going to greece.

this summer we are going up to Maine to escape the heat of august in jersey.

will also do a trip up to north west Connecticut again. nothing but country and lakes etc.. take the dogs swimming.

Deca, have you been to Hawaii? How are the Caribbean beaches and islands different from Hawaii? My wife wants to go the Caribbean next time but its a bit more painful to get to from the West Coast.

Huge difference bro.

One is not better then the other, they both need to be visited.

You will not find clearer water anywhere in the world then you will in the Cayman Islands.

Bermuda is another one of my favorites. Light Pink sands etc..

So far no long distance plans, just local stuff. I'll probably spend a week at my timeshare in carlsbad San Diego in July and possibly a Colorado trip at the end of summer.

Amelia Island is just for little weekend trips. Same with St.Augustine or Orlando

Miami is this month for the Universe Weekend.

The Keys is a kayak trip with a group.

Virgin Islands is for our anniversary.

Puerto Rico is a family trip, not my idea.
