Just now watched the trailer. Looks pretty cool, Hoffman is a great actor, a true master of the craft. Collette is...eh to me, but it is just her voice.

I like the claymation, and the story seems very interesting.

Only part I don't really like is that it is "based on a true story", when in reality the directory/writer based the character Max off of a penpal he had as a child. If I ever wrote a movie, I am sure many ideas, themes, and even characters would be developed from my own personal experiences, I just wouldn't state that the movie was based on a true story. That title gets thrown around too much in Hollyfuck.

None of the shitty theaters around me will get it, so it will be a long time for me. Glad to hear you liked it. Doesn't seem like something you would normally like.
