Its massive! That's what I think many people stateside don't appreciate, there are far more people watching this world wide than any superbowl you ever saw. I have to say I'm not a day to day football/soccer fan but I enjoy the internationals. Basically you have these teams of the nations best thrown together that all play for different teams normally and they play against other nations, anything can happen! This is a tournament not a season. Also when the first games start those teams are relatively new and quite skittish and errors happen through poor comunication, players not used to playing togethet etc. The USA are playing England on Saturday I think and it could be a great time for the USA to pull one over on the country that invented the game! On paper though th US should get smashed but I must say that in recent years the US have improvred their soccer leaps

I love the world cup. I like soccer though. I just wish it was on here more consistently so I could follow it.
