  • I found it intriguing yesterday when the commissioner of the MLS mentioned trying to bring Thierry Henry to the league. Right now would be the best time if it's going to happen.

    • Mr. I, how painful is it to see a Polish guy on a German team score such a damaging blow? :D

        • Ouch, I hope that "should have been" goal isn't a deciding factor of the game. I hate to see games effected like that.

          • As much as I want to laugh at England and make fun of Mr Incredible I cannot. That clear goal by England that was not counted changed everything. That changed the mentality of the game and the dynamics of the game.

Instant reply should be included, no doubt about it.

Germany was dominating before the no-goal, and continued after. England was outplayed the entire game

              • Obviously that goal is a key moment, but Germany was a much better team before and after that "should have been" goal. Throughout the tournament so far Germany has been very strong over all.

                  • England have been the worst they have in history in this world cup, they've never been beaten that bad in 4th round, even in the group stages we were poor. The manager needs to be sacked he put the players out of position even with 70million people telling him not to, the players them selves are over paid turds and every one except stephen gerard should never play for their country again

Garmany found the back of the net twice before England scored. The no-goal would have evened it up, b ut Germany was still being outplayed. After the no-goal, Germany came down and Poloski (sp?) and had a good chance to score. England looked tired from the get-go. Five minutes of playing well doesn't change that fact. Germany was the better team today

You are missing the point in splendid fashion, yes germany played better, but when injustice hits you like that should have been goal its hits you phsycologically, the whole team were celebrating they thought it was a goal like the manager. Typical England though they just get on with the game compared to argentina who surround the officials with the whole team and stop playing if they think a decision was wrong

                        • In the face of adversity, champions rise up. England did not.

Besides Mr. I, not like the US played any better

England were off no doubt but the decision was a travesty and you can't say well Germany would have won anyway, it doesn't work like that

                            • I can say Germany would have won anyways. England have been a second class team the entire tournament.

England had a goal deneid, and maybe it broke them mentally, but that is only because they are weak mentally. England had 15 minutes of decent play of 90.

The right team won that match.

If it helps you sleep, think of it this way, Germany is now even for 66. lol.
