  • Now that both the US and England are out, what is everyone prediction for the final match?

It may seem like a boring pick, but I say Brazil vs. Germany. I can't make an hones pick for the winner since I have seen Germany play the knock out round and haven't seen Brazil play yet.

uneducated? Did you watch england play? the entire tournament they educated the world on what mediocrity looked like.

an educated guess maybe. certainly the better team (by far) won.

bottom line is this.. it should have been 2-2 at one point, they had a goal stolen from them and that has a huge mental impact.

Not sure what kind of douche baggory this is but no one is disputing that Germany played better, just saying that the goal that wasn't given changed things. Know this, if teams don't appear to be playing well but still score they are the most dangerous and Germany have been a classic example of this throughout football history.

And on the point of how England played, you clearly didn't watch the qualifiers because they looked good there.

Englands problem is this, we love our teams; chelsea, manchester united etc more than the national side and it reflects in our national side. We have the most competitive and skilled league in the world in the Premiership and there are no more passionate people about football than england. personally I'm enjoying the football better now England are out

i think the countries of south America would have something to say about that. they live for it down there, its all they have. england has other things to route for.. racing, rugby etc..

I can agree on your first point, other than the douche baggotry...I merely pointed out that an educated guess would lead one to believe that Germany would have won the game regardless...on that note though, I'm glad Fifa is considering the video replay as the goal clearly should have stood and may have changed the outcome.

England did look good in the qualifiers; however, in the World Cup finals they blew, but so did Italy and France (both on a magnitude greater than England, though I would agrue England should have done better while France and Italy did what I expected). I think a combo of pressure, not coming together as a team, and a gruelling premier league continually contribute to their underwhelming results.
