I looked on CNET and Sony didn't get the best reviews.

Seems like Samsung, Panasonic and Toshiba get higher ratings from the editors.

So.....LED/LCD is the way to go? No plasma?

i had a samsung and wasnt happy with it and it just seemed kinda cheaply put together compared to sony bravia ive had bout a year now its hdtv hdmi wcg ccfl features are awesome just dont ask me what all them letters stand for.

had problems with Samsung recall on relay switch ... my fucking tv wouldnt shut off. the issue was on the owners expense since the warranty was 90 days. mine was 1 and half yrs old. samsung didnt fix the problem till recently. many ppl were fucked i was lucky they fixed it for free.

like i said had a samsung and was not impressed at all and it was a high end model super duper or what ever all that acro stood for. seems with samsung it was quanity and not quality. would not buy the brand again.

I got the Samsung, it got great ratings in all the HomeTheatre and AV mags.....and CNET.

Also got a new Blu-Ray player with WiFi built in so we can stream Netflix.
