  • Shopping for a new cell phone

Ok, so all you guys/girls that have knowledge on good cell phones, please chime in.

I have had my Nokia E71 for 2 years now, fuckin great phone. No major issues, just weird bugs that updates fixed. I want a new phone that will last me another 2-3 years. I am looking at the Nokia N97. I basically want a phone to do it all and work on AT&T's 3G. I have unlimited text and data and I use my phones to the max potential 24/7.

Quality of the phone is a big. I don't want cheap plastic shit. I want a phone to be built well and if dropped a few times on concrete, no big deal. My Nokia E71 has a steel frame and weighs heavy. Its built like a brick though, excellent quality and I love it.

    Current budge is $400.

Phone must have a good and stable OS, no Windows shit unless they have improved it since the OS in the HTC Fuze.

and NO! Not getting some gay ass Iphone. Don't like them.

So just give me ideas and links to good phones. Thanks.

I don't know what the tell you...I was at att store and I checked out all of their phones and they were all shit. it seems like since they have the iphone they didn't wanna invest in anything else nice, so for me it's gonna be iphone again.

AT&T is holding out on droid phones so the marker for droid-less os phones is skim. If boost mobile has a droid phone then AT&T should too. I have been wanting a blackberry.

I like the way you think. If i can get that unlocked for under $400 its a deal. However they're all currently over $400. Android OS's are very stable and easy to deal with.

Yea i was there also, and I was like wtf? All this AT&T pre-loaded garbage, hate it. Slows the phone down. Plus all the phones were too light. Cheap plastic all around, and I am too scared to drop it and have it break.

Blackberry's are nice. Hell, they're stable as anything, and they have a great sleek look to them. On top of that, their resolution is amazing. Any good BB's that are unlocked and readily available?

 almost makes me want to switch to verizon, but then I realize that I don't really need the Internet everywhere I go, but it sure is nice.
