  • There should be laws about having dogs in cars

At the very fucking least, about the dog being in the drivers lap. I was driving home from work today and there was this S10 with a topper, briefly driving erratically in front of me on a two lane road. I was in the left almost up to his back bumper and he was in the right. He was slowing and swerving having his tires on the line or slightly crossing it. I braked and stayed behind him until he was driving normal again. As I pass him, it's and older guy around 60 and this little white dog in his lap with it's face press against the window. No doubt that the dog was causing the driving problems. :pissed:

dogs in cars in general, dont agree.

we love taking our dogs up to the Adirondacks, Maine, etc.. they sleep in the back of the SUV.

Dogs that are small enough to sit on laps should be banned.

Other than perhaps a Jack Russell terrier, I can't think of a single breed of "small" dog that I like.

Nothing cooler than seeing a dog stick it's head out of the car window. I don't think they belong on the lap of the driver though.

Yea, I don't ever see it with big (real) dogs. It's always these old people or some youg girl who wanted a pretend baby.

I still don't think any dogs should be allowed in the front. Even big dogs. How many times has a big dog been sitting quietly in shotgun and just suddonly turns and licks your face :)
