im telling ya bro, you have no idea. the lighting was so intense and powerful you could see it for much much longer then normal lighting etc.. i think it may have something to do with it flashing so bright that you can still see the light after it goes away.Originally posted by Mr incredible View Post:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I can't find where I read it, but the difference you see in the duration of lighting has to do with your location in relation to where the part of the could is discharging. So sometimes you only see the lighting for a second as it reaches for the ground because the rest of it is with in the clouds. If the whole discharge area is along the outside of the cloud you will see it everywhere.
