    What type of knot do the men in here use with their ties? I have alwas used the four-in-hand but am thinking of changing it up for an event next week.

    I have no idea what its called, I prefer the smaller ones though. I learned one and thats how I do it every day.

        I usually stick with the full windsor. But the other day I fucked it up somehow and ended up with a half windsor. It looked pretty fuckin money I must admit.

              FIH or half-windsor only.

              Full windsor is only for ex-NFL jocks trying to look pimpin' on ESPN NFL Game Day.

              And always.. ALWAYS... make sure there's a dimple under the knot.

                Can you explain the dimple? I have never heard that before

                  When you pull the front tie blade through the knot, stick your index finger into the knot and make sure there's a channel in the middle of the blade as you pull the knot tight. In other words, the tie blade should make an /\/\ shape inside the knot with your finger in the trough in the middle. The end result will look like this:
