    So, who's fasting? :D

    wna are you fasting bro?

I honestly can't understand this whole fasting thing. I am sure if you're a fat ass it might help, but your body will rebound so badly it will put you in worse shape than before. I can't stay hungry for an hour upon waking up. If i do, I'll end up passing out, lol.

Hate it when Ramadan comes around honestly, my close family starts to fast and they invite us over at sunset for prayer to break the fast. I just tell them, I'll eat and than come over to eat some more :D

of course. I love joking around with religion. I don't want to dis-respect religion because someone might take offense to it, and that's the last thing I want. Its all out of fun and games man. Deep down I know whats expected of me as a Muslim, and ultimately its up to me to choose whether i want to follow that path or not.

Fasting is one of the most benign things in religion. Just about everything else about religion that I can think of is ridiculous at best and a downright insult to human intelligence and dignity.

Bwahahaha!:rofl: am I fasting? that made me lol.

Bro I'm the furthest thing from a muslim only reason I say I'm muslim is because it gets people going. I think I fasted twice in my life time to see what is all that noise about.

By the time I was old enough to fast I was already in to bodybuilding and I wasn't let anything going get in the way of my daily food intake including ramadan.

Now I don't know about any other muslim countries but in Turkey we were told that we fast so we can understand how poor, homeless or people in need of food feels so we can help them. and actually at the end of ramadan people who can spare food or some money used to go to poor parts of the town to help a family in need.

                      lol good man.

Growing up that's my parents told me as a kid. When I read the Quran there was a bit more to it, its also added that we fast so we can cleanse our body of the toxins in food.

My believe you can "cleanse" your body by eating more fiber and taking in fresh foods.

on top of that, since our family doesn't fast we just donate money to the poor so they can eat. It says in the Quran if you can't eat, then donate

that is actually meant for people who are seriously ill and can't fast. not people who choose not to do so.

i don't fast because 1) i'm always fricken thirsty and 2) you can't eat from 4am to 8pm. i'm sorry god but not eating for 16 hours is a little too demanding, don't you think?
