Trust me, it's not the black and white world you think it is. Plenty of PhD's, pathologists, anthropologists, analysts, techs, etc....believe in God. Do you question their expertise too?

Deca, I too had no clue you had a science background. I will agree there are a lot of people in the science field that have a faith. The majority of these people are looking at the specifics of the worlds current working, but not the big picture of how (beyond text books) or why. They look at science as what god gave us to work with instead science as what is just around us without an answer of the source. They accept the answer they were given as kids and never challenged themselves to find their own answer. I garuntee you if they had they would see that science is not compatible with their faith and would be much more skeptical about their faith.

The atoms that comprise your body are borrowed from the universe. They have come together, temporarily defying entropy, to form the body that is you. They have probably been part of other living things may times before, and after you die, they will return to the universe and will be incorporated into the earth, into a tree, another human, whatever.

All the atoms heavier than hydrogen were formed in stars. As Carl Sagan said "We are made of star stuff." And to the stars they will return after our time among the living is over.

I wasn't putting myself on the level of legendary scientists, I was just making the point that have my my own opinion that I have developed from learning. You quote people that say things similar to what I say. :weights:
