What are your thoughts on what they decided, I can see there logic - i still to this day feel vince young was robbed that year. Regie Bush was mr LA fucking all jazz, and Vince young...he just kicked USC's entire ass for the national championship.

He's giving it back because he's ruined USC's football program for the next couple years - all the games in 05 he played in were wiped out - which is odd way of putting it since it takes away the wins, but doesn't reward the teams with wins that they beat. I can see both sides but more importantly USC isn't even bowl eligible for the next two years and has lost I believe it was 15 full boats for athletes, leaving players having to flip the bill for their tuition.

it's a long long story - he took everything money to car to setting his parents up with a house - all along leading a dude on saying that he would be his agent, then screwed him.

They just settled in an undisclosed civil court case lol.

The system for athletic scholarships is a bit fucked up, so it's hard to blame the guy. Students on non-athletic scholarships can have what ever they want. Some kid on an academic scholorship could be given a million dollars by Bill Gates, but an athlete can't even accept a gift if it's valued more than like $20, that includes being taken out to dinner by anyone that could have some sort of connection to the sports world. Kids on athletic scholorships usually have no time to get a job either. The NCAA seems to forget that a full scholorship doesn't pay for every single thing needed for school. You still have to pay lab fees, some other fees, some classes will require things beyond books and the coach would have to file a request to get something extra paid for. So you would have to wait for that to get approved or hope you have the means to buy it yourself.

also to add to this the fucking ncaa and the colleges pimp those kids like a new whore in town for everything they can get out of them ... those kids should get a cut of what the system his raping them for !!!!!

Bush was taking money from an agent.When he became eligable to get an agent officially he dumped the guy who had been fronting him money and went with another agent.Reggie wudnt pay him back.He recorded phone conversations with bush.Agent num 1 got pissed and wrote a book.
