I have a direct line to the big guy upstairs and he calls regularly albeit at odd hours. In one of our many conversations he asked me the following riddle: “Who was born of a virgin on December 25th, at the age of 12 was a child preacher in a temple, at 30 was baptized having virtually disappeared for 18 years, performed miracles, exorcised demons, was crucified between two thieves, buried and resurrected after three days, and was known as The Way, The truth and The Light?” Jesus of course, I blurted. God laughed so loud, thunder rumbled over Laborie and Choiseul for three days. I waited patiently for the answer. He said simply, “I have just described Horus.” Wow, an Egyptian god! Small wonder Dr Alvin Boyd Kuhn (1880-1963) a scholar of comparative religion said, “We are faced with the inescapable realization that if Jesus had been able to read the documents of ancient Egypt, he would have been amazed to find his own biography already substantially written some four or five thousand years previously.”
