For me, I just can't see buying a bike like that without doing some major personal modification. Something that makes it so unique to you. Cruisers to me are all about custom personal mods. I don't see how it makes sense to buy used. I like the bike, so feel free to rip me a clue if necessary :)

I cannot wait to get my new bike - I'll show you guys every mod - I know it's not gonna be the same considering it will be one of three sport bikes. But I'm gonna make it ready for show , gonna get a stunter later when I get enough cash for it for practice and what not so i dont ruin the day rider.

I feel you Shibby, I only buy used when it's stock or has a specific mod done to it I wanted before hand.

stock 106" and a pretty fat tire bike looks good.
Only problem I see for you is your "bros" will not let you in unless its HD. Or did you decide against joining? Or maybe you will have 2 bikes?

rocket i am not going to prospect ,,, i have to give up to much and i am not willing to do so .... i am not good with someone telling me what to do so prospecting for minimum of 18 months and max of whatever doesn't sit well .. i have some good friends that are full patch and am always welcome . a guy i consider like a dad who is retired after over 40 plus years in 1 percent clubs asked me not too aswell ... told me get best of both worlds ... you get in around the guys gain respect etc etc at the end of the day you can get up and leave .. once full patch that ends .. if i was single i would give it all to get full patch but not willing to give up everything for it at this point in my life ..

alot of guys know me and respect me ... thats good enough for me :)

I don't know about much of what you are discussing, but it sounds interesting. Can you elaborate some? Is it just a large time commitment?

I know next to nothing about motorcycle clubs.

Scott good decision bro. Just like turbo I don't know much about the clubs either but when you have a family to think about things take a whole new perspective.

Turbo - it takes couple years for most of the clubs around here to let you in, you need a ref just to have a door open, I know around here hell's angels that I'm close with live // eat / sleep the club - it is a brother hood that they would die for.
