I grind coffee all the time. Buy coffee beans and store them in a cool dark place. Grind just enough for a day or two. The difference in flavor is amazing. When I see people buy those big tubs of Folgers coffee at the grocery store, I have to shake my head... Philistines!! :disagree:

The best coffee I have yet to have was authentic Jamaican Blue Mountain when we were in Negril. I couldn't believe the difference. So strong yet smooth. Fresh beans, freshly ground, and also made via French press right at your table.

I saw something on that; a Civet (something like a weasel or monkey). Most expensive coffee in the world...or some 'shit'. No thanks.

I need to invest in a roaster next. That way I can buy raw beans off the web. That will be the next step in my coffee sophistication journey.

big fan use the french press easy to clean use it everyday at home. I cant stand D&D whole been coffee never seems fresh bitter too. i use Starbucks medium roast or Kona. 8'oclock if im slumming it. that kerig thing sucks makes a mediocre cup of coffee. I make a full pot of coffee at work with traditional drip coffee maker it ginds them up too. bitch to clean

How much and how hard is it to roast your own beans? And where can I buy the best raw bean coffee?
