Bouncer, have you been watching Wonders of the Solar System and Wonders of the Universe on the Science Channel? I've been DVRing these - really good, I think. My kids love them. And Brian Cox is really good as the presenter.

you read my mind. i love that guy. he reminds me very much of Carl Sagan in his enthusiasm, you can tell he just loves what he is talking about.

i watched the older series from last year. i have the first 2 episodes recorded on the dvr of the new series.

Yeah, Brian Cox definitely has that childlike enthusiasm in his voice that is not artificial. He clearly loves what he does and the sense of wonder that he seems to have is definitely infectious. The fact that he is a real physicist makes it so much better than having some actor out there pretending as though he knows what the hell he is talking about.

                    LOL...

Yeah, Through the Wormhole is too flaky for me.

What do aliens look like? Can we live forever? Sixth sense? WTF is this shit? BS wrapped in some scientific sounding mumbo jumbo. Can't stand that kind of shit. I am a straight-up science kind of guy. Cosmos = awesome. Brian Cox = awesome. Pseudoscience = shit.

I loop this shit over and over again while I am in my room. There is enough crazy shit going on when I step out into the 120+ heat and sand. It is nice to flop down and watch mindless shit when I get back. :retard:
