I haven't been following spike's Brocktober all I have seen is the UFC commercial "Never in UFC history has there ever been a mexican heavyweight champion""On October 23rd Cain Velasquez has the chance to become the first Mexican Heavyweight Champion"
The UFC is trying to bring in more mexican fans to watch the fight and to create more interest in Mexico because Dana has plans to expand and put on events in Mexico eventually.
If spike and the ufc have produced other media that I have not seen that have made this fight seem like a Mexico vs US fight then that is a shame they choose that route.I do know they are pushing Cain alot on the media becuase not alot of people know him like they know Brock so they are trying to get him out there.

I'm rooting for Cain mainly because I can't stand Brock , second I was pretty pissed when Shane couldn't finish him.Brock does well against smaller guys but as we saw in the shane fight he turtles up when he gets hit.Carwin never even landed a really clean shot on Lesnar's chin. It wasn't one of those "anyone would have been knocked out by that on the button punch" moments, it was a moment where Lesnar got a taste of Carwin's power and declined to have a second helping.If you remember he got rocked by Couture too so there is a chance that Cain could drop brock. In all honestly I hope cain wins but I think if brock can find a way to take cain to the ground he might be able to manhandle him like he did Mir.

I agree 100% Mir even staggered brock in the second fight but lesnar just took him down and beat him to death,lol.

I think your underestimating his striking. he has really gotten better by alot. he is fast and very coordinated now with his thai skills

Cain is faster for sure, can he hit as hard, no. He would have a punchers chance if they stood toe to toe, but I don't believe he would beat him down as you might.
