I love the city but I tell ya living in Ky out where I live is something else. There is a den of coyotes that live across the road down in the woods from my house. At night sometimes you can hear them howling and yipping especially on a full moon theres a whole pack of them. Tonight on my way home I seen one in my headlights on the side of the road probably weighed about 40-45 lbs. They will actually come up around the barns out behind my house at night sometimes looking for a cat or small dog or anything to eat if they get hungry enough. In the last couple days i have seen 8 wild turkeys, 2 deer (in my back yard) an oppossum, 2 squirells, racoons daily, a coyote, heard a woodpecker but didn't see it, and a groundhog. I love animals/wildlife

I used to hunt and trap a lot when I was younger but not to much anymore. my dad deer hunts gun season/bow season/muzzle load everything. I have never seen any bob cats around here but I know they are in parts of Ky. Beavers are everywhere down in the creeks. i get plenty of deer meat from my dad every year. he has a commercial fishing license and we run hoop nets in the Ky river in the spring during spawning season. Catch flathead cats up to 40 lbs, sometimes up to 600 lbs in one day. i freeze a lot of it and we give a lot away to family/friends

Try allegro marinade they have different kinds but the one called "game tame" is really good for your deer meat. Soak your meat in it for a few hours, killer

coyotes usually see the wrong end of the gun around here; they are the farmers worst enemies. Just yesterday I saw two real big doe grazing in a field by my house. Saw a black bear a couple weeks ago. Usually see a lot more activity when winter starts closing in. I swear I swear I saw a wolf last month in Connecticut when driving down and old unlit road in the woods. either that or it was the biggest dog ever recorded; what ever this was, it was freaking huge.

We have bear and moose wandering the city streets at times. The wolves have more sense and stay out of town.
