Things must have changed since i was there in '07. It was my spring break and went down there. My buddy has off campus housing in Tampa and we basically just hung out. Went to Clearwater on some random day, I think it was a Tuesday or something. People were fuckin partying, swimming, and getting drunk. I looked at my watch and it was only 3pm. Had a blast talking to random people and swimming in the ocean. I saw a lot of white people, Hispanics and Blacks were non-existent.

I'm not defending this place. Tampa and its surrounding areas aren't so great either but it has similar culture to miami. Not as glamorous by any means. You're a rich spoon fed snot from dirt jersey of course you think miami is the greatest place on earth.

Miami is great. Beautiful beaches, culture, and great food. Sitting at one of those restaurants on ocean drive and eating good food and enjoying the view of the ocean, nice cars, and beautiful women walking by? Are you serious blm? Also, Miami is one of the only places (other than NY) where you can get true NY pizza. And everyone there is all about making money so it keeps you motivated.

I suppose if you are a cheap ass or don't have the money to truely experience Miami for what it is, then I could see how one could not like it, but IMO it's a beautiful place.

Never said it wasnt beautiful. I live on the water, I wake up to the sun gleaming off the bay into my kitchen window and setting outside my down stairs lanai. I understand the lure I just don't like the fake LA like scene. I like real people. Yes, I am a simple family man that has no interest in the glitz n glamour facade. You call me hick, I say humble.
