We had it in Performance mode and it was still on. Basically what was happening was, I was trying to rev 1st gear until just before the torque started running out before shifting into 2nd. But the car would automatically shift to 2nd before the torque ran out, and I would end up shifting into 3rd and getting bogged down.

I drove the EVO X MR with paddle shifters and I HATED it. It shifts in and out of 1st gear for you if you don't shift before it wants you to. Are they all fucking like that?

to answer your quiestion though, yes and no. cheaper cars like Mitsu, Nissan, have average at best paddles.

porshe, ferrari, etc.. shift in milliseconds.

It can be done if they get the right host, it's all about the hosts. You need guys that have fun on cam and aren't trying to act, we need real laughs, real fear, and real challenges. Not this forced, scripted, corny shit.
