This happened in my hometown. I literally almost shit myself laughing when I read this. Just imagining an intense "Mission Impossible" like intensity while the guy is looking for a Midget in the wall....

A good Samaritan at a Motel 6 tried to free a little person from a hotel room adjacent to his Sunday, according to reports from deputies.
The only problem: The little person didn’t exist.
Spartanburg County Deputies say they responded to a Motel 6 at 105 Jones Road after a motel employee called about a guest who destroyed a room and confronted her with a wrench in his hand.
When deputies arrived the motel guest said he was sleeping when he got a call on the room’s telephone, according to the report. He said the caller claimed to be management with the motel.
The caller told the hotel guest the room was “bugged” with highly sophisticated cameras left by a previous motel guest. The report shows the caller told the guest how to get rid of the cameras.
The guest said the caller told him to turn off the TV, unplug it and then use the lid from the back tank of the toilet to smash it.The guest tried, but was unable to break the television glass. When he told the unidentified caller he couldn’t break it, the caller said to throw it outside.
The guest did, reports state.
At some point, the report states, the guest gave the mysterious caller his cell phone number so he wouldn’t have to run back and forth to the motel phone.
The caller told him there were cameras behind the mirror and advised him to smash them. The guest, the report says, had a wrench in the room with him and used them to break the room’s mirrors.
When the guest completed that task, the caller told a little person was barricaded in the room next to his and the police needed Jones’ help to get him.
The guest, the report states, started smashing a hole in the wall.
The report states the guest stopped because he didn’t want the little person to see him if he smashed all the way through.
The motel employee was called because of noise complaints.
When she arrived, the report states the guest answered the door with his wrench.
She got scared, deputies say, and ran to call 911.
When deputies arrived, the guest told them the story. While doing so, deputies say he got another call from the mysterious caller.
A deputy took it and explained it to the motel employee.
The report states she understood the situation and even said the Motel 6 corporate managers warned her that similar things have happened at other hotels.
The report states she did not hold the guest responsible but did want him to leave.
